The Graphics
Quite possibly the best aspect of the Alien Blackout Android game is the graphics. If you have played the Aliens horror game for PC then you will feel right at home. While not quite at the same level, on Android, the similarities are definitely there. The textures, the lighting effects (or lack thereof), the lens flares, etc. are all on point and are something that can give even the best AAA games a run for their money.
The Sound
The sound design of this Android mobile game is excellent, to say the least. One of the best aspects of the original game on PC was the fact that the sound design was excellently crafted. You could hear each and every step of the Xenomorph as it waddled around carelessly trying to sniff out each and every single one of the last remaining passengers aboard the spaceship.
The same can also be said about Alien Blackout Apk which depends heavily on the sound design to warn the player about the presence of the Xenomorph in and around the area. The ambient music is also eerily creepy and can make anyone freak out in the middle of the night. The sounds during the jump-scares are also very spooky and will definitely make your heart pound faster.
Gameplay
As far as the core gameplay is concerned, if you have played any of the ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s games, you will feel right at home. Just like FNAF, you as Ripley are put in charge of multiple cameras in the security room and it is your duty to manipulate the different levers and gadgets to ensure that the crew who have come in to save you reach your safety so that evacuation can be done.
The Xenomorph in the Alien Blackout game for Android is constantly on the chase, so you have to be looking at all of the cameras available at your disposal to keep track of it. It seems easy enough but anyone who has played FNAF will know how difficult it can be. Regardless, your mission is to guide the crew safely through the spaceship. At the same time, you also have to make sure that the alien does not get to your either. So it is a pretty challenging balancing act.
