Yes, Genshin Impact is easier on mobile. Here’s why:
I’m sure most of you know by now that Genshin (and all other Tezawes) are now available as an Android app.
But if you already own the PC version, do these apps really make any sense? Aren’t they just pocket-sized copies for your phone?
Well, to be frank, they are not.
Genshin Impact offers more than the PC version and offers these additional features:
- A completely reworked interface. The app focuses on eliminating the workflow problems that the PC version has. The user is guided through all steps of downloading a manga chapter or volume, creating an ebook, or just browsing their library.
- Faster download speeds with multiple threads per server + faster servers = faster downloads.
- Background downloads have been perfected so you can continue browsing while huge files are being downloaded in the background without ever experiencing any hiccups or other issues.
- Optimized reading display for mobile screens (reading portrait/vertical aka non-scroll mode).
- Manga is now displayed in their actual size instead of being shrunk to fit the screen.
- Multi-window support brings the ability to read manga side by side with other apps, like your browser or a notepad app.
So… yes, Genshin Impact brings more features than the PC version has. It’s perfect for reading huge manga files on mobile devices because you can use multi-window mode to have it open in one window while having another app open where you can take notes / to send messages / check what came in on your email etc.
The only aspect that this mobile version does not offer is the capability to change the library/reading settings (dark themes) and create custom post-processing script templates which means you will need the PC version if you want to modify your ebooks.
But, it’s still a free app that is much easier and faster to use than the PC version so I would definitely recommend that you check it out!
